Reminders of the Azores

I fell in love with the Azores the first time I visited. It was August (still misty but you don’t go there for the weather.)

I loved the hedges made of beautiful blue hydrangeas. Happy cows smiling over these natural boundaries just seemed to sum up the gentleness and innocence of this way of life.

I’ve been back - in April - the same mist, well fog, but hedges of red azaleas. Still fabulous.

I bought three blue hydrangeas from Lidl when I got back from my first trip.

One died. (My fault. I pruned it !)
Two have survived and have returned blue

Time to feed them with coffee grounds and that magical stuff to help them keep the colour.

Happy cows.
Happy people.
Superb naturalness.
Wonderful memories.
