Walking the walls.

We have spent a very enjoyable day when we joined the Bus Pass Walkers on the Zap Bus from Leeds to York.
After a picnic lunch,  it was off for a walk round the walls.
You see York from a totally different angle from up there.
Especially many beautiful back gardens you can’t see from the pavement.
This blip being one of them.

Before catching the bus back we stopped for refreshments at a lovely little cafe, in a tower by the bridge,  ( photo in extra collage) and sat outside by the river.
A warm day, even if not any sun.
