Frigideiras

Our favorite cafe.

“ ‘Frigideiras’ have a unique flavour and are made with minced veal meat tucked into a puff pastry, cooked with margarine and lard. This heritage from Braga makes the delights of the locals and the tourists. This dish is even mentioned by several Portuguese renown writers, like Almeida Garret in his book “Viagens na Minha Terra” and Júlio Dinis that in 1870 talked about this delicacy in his book “Serões da Província”.

And served with French fries upon request.
