Splendid day at Wimbledon, best seats we've ever had! We were on No.1 Court (which I actually prefer as it's smaller).

We dashed off to have a bit of lunch during which it was reported that the Duchess of Cambridge had popped over from Centre Court to support the Brits and watch Johanna Konta. When we got back on Court I spotted that she wasn't sitting too far away from us. Mr M got quite a good picture of her as she got up to leave.

We also saw Rafael Nadal play. Now, we have a bit of history with him as we've seen him play quite a few times at Wimbledon. Each time we've seen him he's lost in the early rounds. But today he won and broke the jinx!

When we got home a friend had emailed us with a picture of us which had appeared on TV - fame at last!
