in a very unusual color

more fall-like than summer - but with the sun hitting it - giving off a myriad of shades and nuances

i have been stalking these - buds for ages now - waiting for what feels like - forever for them to bloom - to see not only what kind - of flower they’d reveal - but also the color - everyone i asked was oblivious to what - they were, had no clue - so it was a waiting game

as i left the property for an appointment - i noticed one was in bloom - all i could think about - was getting back to photograph it - share it with you - spread the joy i have - the sheer delight when discovering - a new flower in my midst - so you, too, can experience...
