Archaeology Museum

Today we paid an afternoon visit to the National Museum of Archeology in Dublin. We saw numerous prehistoric artifacts—especially from the Neolithic period of the Newgrange Passage Tomb, which we visited yesterday. An entire small gallery was devoted to the so-called Mound of the Hostages—the site of a small passage tomb on Tara Hill which we stopped at on the way to Newgrange.  In the evening we were happy to watch the Netherlands (land of my ancestors :) win over Sweden in the Women's Soccer World Cup.
