Well done Network Rail

Today was about walking stage 5 of the London Loop. This was a beautiful stretch of hidden Greater London from Hamsey Green to Coulsdon South. We had hoped to do another stage but the heat kept us to one.

What jumped out to me today was the provision of a water fountain to refill your water bottles at London Bridge Station and at Guys Hospital. Hopefully we will see more of this and say good by to plastic bottles.

Unlike the first extra where we have a plastic bottle water supplier in sponsorship with Wimbledon. This would have been a great opportunity for water fountains.

The picture was full of reflections which leads me on to my second extra. This photo was taken through a window with a new “Ultimate Lens Hood”. The hood looks like a sink plunger but it really works well.

So the final two extras were taken as we walked a long the loop. It was strange to be in beautiful open countryside and see the Shard in the distance.

The final extra may reflect that I had had too much of the sun but I’m sure if you look close enough you will see a crocodile.
