Casualties

Hairdressers this morning  and then home - topped up the feeders and did some deadheading.  KG was working in the front garden and I did chat a while.  We had an early lunch and the went to the garden centre to get some compost.  We joined the Dobbies scheme last time we went and my new card arrived today - so we had our free hot drinks.  As usual we bought plants  but we did really well as club members were entitled  to 20% off and we found these fuchsia at 50% off - we bought 5 as we had just the space for them.  MY blip today is off the three casualties from transporting them.
The award ceremony yesterday was lovely - the school had decided to do Curriculum Awards to highlight the different strengths the children had.  These were mainly for art, sport, music.  The teachers were only allowed to choose one child from their class and apparently found it really hard. It was the first time the school had done this and none of the children knew why they were getting an award - it was lovely to see our granddaughter get her award  for creative art and imagination.  So glad we were invited.
Another sunny day  and I am afraid a bit too hot for me
