Super antenna

I've been on a guided tour this afternoon to this field, filled with antennae. Together they're a huge telescope and they can detect if something in the sky is off. Like a meteorite coming over the other day. There are a lot of little such fields and one bigger field in the Netherlands. All data gets sent to one computer that does the calculations. And that computer is connected to computers elsewhere in Europe. It's a bit too complicated for me, but I do find it fascinating.
