Winchester Cathedral

After escaping the office, I headed to a free parking area about a mile from the centre of Winchester and walked along the River Itchen into the city. I was very envious of some of the cottages overlooking the river with their sunny patios (extra).

Once in the city, I wandered around, ending up in the cathedral precincts where I had a go at shooting a muli-exposure (9 shots, in camera) Pep Vendosa style image of the great West front, centering on the war memorial, as my entry into Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday Challenge for this week.
