Lewisia.....

.....slowly unfurling, if just a little hesitant.

Usually a summer flowering succulent Lewisia is still in flower but kept in the sun and in a sheltered position as winter temps take a hold. Her buds are tiny but full of warmth and so vibrant. This is my third plant, the other two plants I planted in my garden and lost them both, this one is in a pot and going strong.....perhaps third time lucky, hope so :)
