A Cathedral To Beer

Carl Jacobsen was a bit of a romantic, especially when it came to his beer. This brewing house is probably the prime example with it's marbled floors, golden balustrades and, out of shot, spiral staircases. Just for making pints. 

I was wandering around the brewery when I bumped in to an ex-colleague who was working in here today (taking photos of beer bottles, as it happens), so I took the opportunity of a quick snap.
