Thank you for all the thoughtful comments on Tuesday's blip, hopefully we are a voice that will still be heard. 
Just back blipped Wednesday and now all caught up after a fantastic first gentle wander out. 37°C was a shock to the system! 

It's not often a view of Mont Blanc doesn't get top spot, today it doesn't even make it as an extra. 

This fantastic pair danced through the high alpage ahead of us at les Mollays under the Rochers des Fiz, finally settled for some lovin... Blip done. Extinct in the UK for nearly a century, they just pipped extra 1
#1 Always, always special to see a swallowtail, majestically graceful.
#2 the flowers, my oh my, the flowers. I could have blipped collage after collage, the high meadows are aflame with colour. For large parts of our walk the fragrant orchids were almost the most common flower, incredible. Even here the Red Helleborine is a relatively rare find, today we saw dozens.
I also always get a buzz from seeing the wild, original cousins of flowers we've domesticated.
