Light bulbs

We got these light bulbs a week ago from Carrefour. I think they're cute. They were £1 each, so we got all four colours. (The one on the bottom right is blue btw) There's a bit of a story about the straws because when we bought the bulbs, we didn't bring the straws home. Then on Wednesday, I saw them again and noticed straws close by, so took four straws to the check-out to explain what had happened.

The lady understood what I was saying but said she couldn't let me have them there; I had to go customer services and tell them my story, but I couldn't carry the ones I'd brought to the check-out with me. So, we walked over, told our story, waited for an assistant to come and escort me back to where the bulbs were, and then I could bring four straws home!

I've felt better today but we've not gone out. G made a chicken roast dinner in the evening which was delicious. :)
