Hosta

Ordinarily you would recognize hosta by its leaves. This photo is mostly to document the fact that deer love the leaves of the hosta, but not - evidently - the flowers. Some naughty deer have been coming right up to the porch when we're not looking and eating our hostas. But it doesn't really do any harm - just makes them look ridiculous. The flowers are quite pretty despite not being tasty. And they smell nice too.
