A walk in the Surrey woods

Up and around Leith Hill on a gentle eight-mile walk with a pub lunch in Coldharbour. The tower on top of the hill was built for Richard Hull in the late 18th Century who wanted something that would raise his viewing point at the top of the hill to more than 1,000 ft above sea level. Not much of a hill, then, by Scottish standards, but positively mountainous for the south of England.
