Another butterfly

This is one of the species that is annoying in that it never settles with its wings open and so I have lots of shots of the underside but none of the top. Until this one obligingly posed for me. In fact sadly I found it dead in one of our rooms but it did not die in vain as it can now be identified - small consolation I fear.
That is of course assuming I had my butterfly book which I don't.
A little more strimming and generally tidying up the garden today before retiring inside to avoid the heat again.
