despite a late night - drenching of heavy rain with - torrential hail as well - this simple little daisy - stood tall, resilient in the daylight - i was so relieved to see it - had survived the storm since it had - recently bloomed out front

some of my balcony flowers - took a major hit - but i think with a bit of pruning - they’ll bounce back - fortunately i was able - to grab one pot to bring - inside just before getting hit - with the hail deluge - the good news is that - the birds don’t mind - i glimpsed a bird nibbling - one of my flowers - (wish i’d had my camera for that!) - so tattered or not made no difference to him - it all makes for...
