Why I love her`

Went to see the Hobbit this evening - a wonderful film - lived up to all my expectations ( in spite of S complaining that some of it was pandering to the American market!!) - Elves Dwarves (NOT dwarfs!!) , hobbits, Orcs, Goblins and a Dragon - what more could you want

But best of all I have started reading this book - which S got me for Christmas. - brings out all the inconsistencies of the books in a wonderful way - line how come hobbit hole are undergroud but aren't damp = and how come Hobbits are the only creatures in Middle Earth that have any sort of mechanisation (like Mills etc) but VERY funny

I recommend it to anyone with a sense of the ridiculous!!
