Ringed Plover

I went up to Birsay and stopped at the The Loons RSPB reserve hide. Very quiet today though a nice dark-phase arctic skua flew over. Walk to Marwick then and onto the cliffs which were packed with thousands of guillemots, razorbills, fulmars, kittiwakes and a few puffins. Lots of bonxies, and more gannets than I usually see there- 15 or more. Also there was this ringed plover.
