Call the Midwife

We did not have long to open the remaining presents this morning as it was off to party early this morning for swimming and soft play before the cake, so we left two unopened under the tree before we left.

We were worried that Boy was not going to want to swim as he has not been for a while now on account of the fact that he has always hated it everytime we went anywhere near anything wetter than a puddle. Anyway we needn't have worried as he loved it and had lots of fun, even giggling an laughing even when he was clearly getting a bit cold.

Once home from the party we mooched around for a bit before having some visitors round. Whilst mooching I put on the telly box on and started up the Peppa Pig dvd to load. As it was coming to life Call the midwife appeared on the telly and the little ones demanded to watch it. I reminded Boy that he had already seen it on Christmas Day when he refused to go to bed, put on Peppa Pig and went into see Wife in the kitchen.

When Wife and I went back into the telly box room moments later the little ones had opened the remaining gifts, without approval, and were sitting comfortably in front of Call the Midwife.

Not long after the Christmas special repeat was over and our visitors were upon us and the sound of screaming and running around was echoing through the house whilst Boy caught up on cuddles with his friends.

After a quick dinner Boy was asked if he wanted pudding. He replied "I don't want Mango, I just want to skate" and so left the table looking for his helmet and board. Once obtained he did then get himslef a min milk to keep his energy levels up.
