Open air service

An interesting and moving service to commemorate Lincolnshire’s lost Villagers and churches. The service was taken by the Bishop of Grantham and the hymns were accompanied by Banovallum Brass band.
The church became derelict in the 18th century and now is just a few mounds in a grass field. The weather help to make this day perfect and after the service there were sandwiches and tea at the nearby Wilksby Church
