Crògearraidh Mor

True to form the weather changed overnight with heavy rain giving way to a showery morning. We went to Lochmaddy to visit Taigh Chearsabhagh Museum and Arts Centre. We had coffee and I had a big piece of chocolate and raspberry cake (S had a cheese scone), before looking around. There was some art from recent graduates of the arts course at the museum given by Lews Castle College UHI based in Stornoway and a very good geology exhibition. We looked around outside at some sculptures. By now it was late so we had some lunch and decided to go up a couple of Marilyns; firstly Crògearraidh na Thobhà, which is the second lowest Marilyn, and then Crògearraidh Mor, from where the blip was taken. It is a panorama from the top looking north west over Tràigh Ear and Udal. Today’s collage is Skye from Crògearraidh na Thobhà, Eaval and the head of Mosaic Mackerel by Rosalind Waites.

Yesterday’s blip.
