Waiting . . .

I am always amazed at how fertile this area is sitting in the shadow of a "waiting" volcano.  The wonderful soil here is a direct result of previous eruptions.  And, my geology friends tell me that this beautiful mountain will awake again.  

But in the meantime, there is such a peace about this place . . . especially sitting out on a deck overlooking the vineyards and enjoying the bounty of the land.
