Blessing or Curse?

Is it an indigenous ladybird, which is all good or an invasive harlequin ladybird that's all bad?

Watched Independence Day as we do every year around the 4th of July.  Had snacky stuff and a very nice Californian Zinfandel in front of the TV for tea.
