A lime kiln, a cave and an orchid

A while ago I bought some maps of local curiousities . Today I dragged Mr P in search of Holy Well and told him to bring a torch. It  turned out to be 165m of cave passage with an exit at both ends.  Apparently in 1656 it was discovered as a chalybeate spring and named Holy Well because its near a chapel but the water has long since dried up - lucky for us intrepid explorers.
On the way we passed a lime kiln that I did not know about (extra) and came back through Latterbarrow Nature Reserve that was brimming with wild flowers - see wild orchid (extra)
