Columbia River Gorge

 The day, which started overcast, improved substantially in the afternoon.  On a whim, Linda and I decided to do a short hike  near Rowena on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge.  We hiked, shot some images,  and then dinner in Hood River, Oregon.  From the heights one could see the many windsurfers who enjoy their sport on the river where they are propelled by the high winds available in the Gorge.

The extra is an image of Linda, my wife, hiking mate, model, and photographic assistant.   We would definitely come back to the area.
