Spoonbill

This really only gets an outing on blip, as I’ve never seen a spoonbill before, and since I was small it’s long been on my list as a ‘must see’. I promise you that’s what it is even if you can’t see the spoon-shaped beak as it took off from the water before I could capture it, and if you are still sceptical, those who who know me through my well advertised eye problems Sarah who has brilliant vision identified it immediately. I hope to do better if it’s still there next time
