Den Gamle By

Rest day today after the rigours of yesterday.

We returned to Aarhus and the open air museum of Dem Gamle By. Half timbered houses from different parts of Denmark have been dismantled and reconstructed as a provincial market town from the era of Hans Christian Andersen. In addition there were sections from the 1920s and 1970s. Complete with characters dressed up and acting their parts. Well worth a visit and occupied us for 3+ hours.

We then had a wander the Botanic gardens before returning to our accommodation. Now gearing up for three more days of Orienteering. Middle distance tomorrow.
