It's a long way down

All the Ladybirds that I saw in the Abbey Meadows this afternoon were 7 spotters. The butterfly in the extra is, I think a Ringlet. There seemed to be masses of them but they were reluctant to settle and took off at the slightest  disturbance, this was my best picture.
