Life through the lens...

Little diamonds.

I noticed these raindrops caught in a cobweb by the gate.
Thought how beautiful they looked and perfect for Tiny Tuesday.

A mizzling day.
A perfect day to go shopping for bedding.

What a great evening we had last night.
Marta brought us some interesting and very unusual wines from Portugal.

One was a Moscatel white wine from the Douro Valley. Delicious and refreshing. Perfect for an aperitif.

A very unusual Renegado Red.
From the Douro valley. A bit like a deep rose, but made from a mixture of red and white grapes. I’ve never had such a wine before.
Not one I liked.

The last wine was a very deep flavoursome red.
Grous Moon Harvest Red, from Alentejo .
Grapes hand picked at the time when the moons influence is at its most favourable.
WOW. What a stunner.

It was interesting to taste wines so different from ones we would normally buy.
Just what our wine club is all about.
