San Juan River - West Fork

Retuning on the ski trail, I ran out of steam and Joseph got really far ahead. I took a short break to catch this picture and my breath. I was disappointed that snowmobiles had invaded the quiet trail when we got near the trailhead. There is a sign there that clearly indicates they are forbidden. They managed to wipe out the terrific trail that the Pagosa Nordic Club had groomed just the day before.
