Eric and the Lombardi Trophies

Eric and I were in Denver this weekend for our friend Sam Freed's bar mitzvah, and after rehearsal we surprised the kids with a VIP tour of the Denver Broncos training facility arranged by Sam's mom, Sharon (aka uknowme on Blip.)

Although we didn't see any players (they beat the Ravens 34-17 the night before in Baltimore), we visited the meeting room, both practice fields, the weight room, and the locker room. We even hung out for a few minutes by Peyton Manning's locker! ...aaaaaahhhh... (<...sound of angels on high)

Our tour began and ended in the front lobby where all the team's banners, game balls, and trophies are on display. Naturally we took turns posing with the Vince Lombardi trophies the Broncos won for their back-to-back Super Bowl victories in 1998 and 1999.
