New Year's Eve Eve

There's nothing like a beautiful, warm home, jam packed with people, good food and drink, and the classic-rock sounds of The Walrus to keep your toes tappin' and wind down the holiday week. Margaret and Jay Bikman's annual end-of-the-year blowout has become almost something of an institution in these parts, and I'm so glad to finally attend!

The Walrus delivered big time with hit after hit that had the crowd dancing, jumping, singing, shouting, waving, cheering, and who knows what else?! It was wonderful to reconnect with so many familiar faces and to see everyone having such a good time. Now, a soothing, hot cup of tea and honey will do the trick to soothe my voice, hoarse from the evening!
