Lucky Escape

I was outside with my little charge today we had been playing hide and seek and then he wanted to check on the dinosaur eggs in the nest (it is actually a collection of stones to encourage bugs to our bug hotel) so we went down to the bottom of the field as we got there I got a real strong smell of burning I looked down and between the pieces of wood I could see a few whisps of smoke, the children had left a magnifying class out overnight and the sun through the lens had ignited some of the very dry grass my charge ran to the outside tap and filled a bucket and poured the water on the wood and stopped the burning. It was lucky that we went down to the bottom of the field as I dread to think what could of happened.
