LAUNCH OF WEE BOATS POSTPONED - WEBSITE LIVE...

Definitely not the photo we'd hoped to be putting on Blipfoto today!

Unfortunately, the launch of the 1300 wee paper boats made by all the pupils HAS BEEN POSTPONED BECAUSE OF HIGH WINDS.

So, the event at the Riverside Museum will NOT NOW TAKE PLACE.

This is an early blip to try to let as many people know as possible, so if you know anyone who was thinking of going, pass on the news.

If it has to be a day indoors because of the weather, and a disappointment that the launch isn't taking place, there is some good news on the horizon...

... the launch will be re-scheduled, possibly in May on the anniversary of the actual launch of George Wyllie's Paper Boat;

... the new website for schools has just gone live, with all its information about and photographs of George Wyllie's work!

So, if you are stuck indoors because of the weather and had been looking forward to a George Wyllie event, click here and enjoy the new site...
