Mince Pie Express

When we last visited the Northampton and Lamport Railway on 14th October we saw that they would be running festive special trips between Christmas and New Year. We knew we would be in Northampton for New Year so decided it would be nice to come along with G's mum and dad.

It was a pleasant little trip, with mince pies and sherry served as the train, consisting of a class 31 diesel locomotive, one carriage and a brake van, gently ran twice back and forth along the one and a half miles of track.
