Breakdown

Today I ended up having a breakdown well not me but the car. After a few weeks of it playing up with warning lights coming on and off I decided to get it checked out. This is a shot of the car dashboard with the warning lights all on which i took to show the garage, as I described it light up like a Christmas tree and no mileometer reading  . I took it to an electrical specialist where they ran some tests for me.
The problem turned out to be dry solder joints on the back of some of the components . This is why the problem was intermittent. Thankfully they was able to re-solder  the joints . Not a cheap job £180.00 + vat but cheaper option than getting them replaced  for new ( around £1000.00 ) . They have tested it all out and the fault looks to be all sorted.
No real time to get a blip shot so this boring low quality shot will have to do for my blip but it does sum up the day.
