Celebration time!

Mark has been awarded a 2:1 for his BSc in Economics from Warwick. I'm so pleased for him.

Surfacing from his travels briefly I took him for a celebratory lunch at The Ivy Brasserie Kensington. He's a veggie, so I was delighted to see the addition of a rather lovely vegetarian and vegan menu which we both chose from.

After the compulsory Aperol Spritz and basket of zucchini fritti (courgette fries with lemon, cilli and mint yoghurt), He had a Spanish halloumi dish and I had a jackfruit and peanut salad.

We shared a bottle of champagne and finished it off with creme brûlée.

What a lovely end to the week.
