Up There

The Tahkoluoto Power Station was built in the mid-70s. I worked there for two years – in 1977-79. We working guys had an occasional Friday pastime. Whoever got up to the smokestack's top first, would be granted a load of booze. I won it twice – having been an athlete in youth helped me a lot.
