Ouch

Once a crowned tooth, it broke off flush with the gum. My regular dentist x-rayed it, then showed me the X-ray of the double bend and said extraction was a job for the dental hospital, where it was actually done, very professionally, by two students. I’m now feeling rather bruised.
In spite of my dentist’s dire warnings about the end of the root breaking off, as the blip shows, it came out in one piece
