Window picturing

A photo from wedding photographer down the road from Sweetheart's home and ofcourse I pass this window so very very often with this gorgeous picture in it... I had to copy it one day = today as the light was right.

The picture is taken from the hights of Akrotiri, just above the city of Chania ~  a historic spot this is as here a Cretan Rebel rose the Cretan flag in the Liberation wars from the Turks and here Greece's first PM after that liberation from the Turks, Elevtherios Venizelos is burried.

Elevtherios Venizelos is a Greek hero, born on Crete in Mournies, a suburb to Chania what's next to where the hospital is ~  this afternoon I walked the streets of Mournies when Sweetheart was busy with the hometransport of his mum... She returned home again ~  I'd not believed this outcome when she was admitted last Sunday; glad she recovered so well!

In the extra the house where Elevtherios Venizelos was born (and if you saw yesterday's blip... that ferryboat is named after this man EV)

A new Weekend about... wishing you all Happy Days!
