Schnauzers have been bred to hunt vermin. (That is why they have a big beards and fluffy legs - if a rat has a go at them they just get a mouthful of hair, not flesh).  Here Murdo has caught a mouse.

His hunting instincts are getting stronger, many a lunge into the undergrowth.
