Cherry Harvest

I thought our little cherry tree was going to produce about 6 cherries this year because of our strange spring. But I was delighted when I unwrapped it from its bird protection veil to find it had a nice little bowlful. And they are delicious. So once again thank you to PhilippaJ for such a lovely present several years ago now. I can't remember exactly when.

I also picked all the blackcurrants and will be jam making in the coming week.

All this harvesting took place after the great Halep tennis win. Sorry for Serena but delighted for the new champion!
