Carnival

A parade in Edinburgh to mark start of festival season followed by live performances in Princes Street Gardens. Lovely atmosphere - people of all ages out enjoying themselves, helped by the sunny weather.

Earlier in day had a walk along the canal with my sister- not an unusual occurrence for her as she lives in the Netherlands.

Had a lovely evening last night with sister & daughter and a further joint outing is planned for Tuesday before sister flies home.

A quite evening beckons: tomorrow's will be less so.
