Primula Scotica

Finally I get a pic of the Primula Scotica in flower at Yesnaby.

A delightful plant that is only found in Orkney, Caithness and Sutherland . A teenie wee thing that’s leaves hug the ground and in May and July sends up stem only a few centimetres high with a cluster of vivid purple flowers.
