A Little off Piste

After the fun of last night's entertainment, we used today for more practical purposes and went shopping for some house things in High Wycombe. 

We've wondered before about the fate of the former dry ski slope that used to be visible from the M40, so as we were in the area we had a bit of an investigation. The top section has now been cleared and a new housing development is under way but a footpath further down the hill gives some access to cross over what is left of the slope and facilities. Not much is visible, some discarded sections of the slope surface and a few of the gantries that formed the drag lift. If you didn't know it used to be there, I'm not 100% sure you'd know what you'd found. Snaps taken, we headed home to catch-up on the British GP action.
