Riverbed Ramble

Absolutely gutted at the result of the cricket overnight. Kane Williamson and Eoin Morgan should have jointly lifted the Cricket World Cup after a drama-packed Sunday evening at Lord's.
Certainly neither England nor New Zealand deserved to lose such an incredible, seesawing final when they couldn't be split after 50 overs each.
Using a Super Over to decide it was farcical and the International Cricket Council needs to give itself an uppercut for even entertaining it as a tiebreaker.  And now there is some doubt over the "overthrow" decision - England should have got five runs not six.....
.....we know how we have felt all day, I'm trying to imagine how our boys are feeling. Both sides played brilliantly with swings and roundabouts, both were winners.

So, with the way we were feeling, it seemed sensible to get out with fellow photographers and do a riverbed ramble.  This pretty bloom, a weed, was flowering profusely under the bridge.

Blippers, please pop in and welcome a kiwi blipper living in the Blue Mountains, inland from Sydney.....she really wants to make contact with us on this side of the Tassie. She is new to blipping and needs some blip love.
After an all nighter watching cricket (I did doze at the beginning of the English innings) its off to bed for me.
Thanks so much for the love for my Pep from yesterday, appreciated.
....and yes, I and the rest of NZ will get over the disappointment (given time)

Rainie
