Not enough has really changed...

... to qualify for one of my 'Then & Now' blips.

The original shot of the fire destroying this local convenience store was my blip just over a year ago. The fire was put out in the building which was over a hundred years old and the shell of the structure has been fenced off until fairly recently - but there has been no other progress on the remaining eyesore.

Way back to at least1902, the building was occupied as a mixed business (grocery, wine merchant and chemist shop) with an impressive frontage bearing the name of the shopkeeper, Mr Harper in the stonework.
