Kingfisher!

Delighted to see a kingfisher tonight as we walked along the canal towpath.

Earlier Annette , Eleanor and I set off to Gargunnock walled garden. On the way we noticed a lady at the side of the road on grass and it looked a if she had fallen. We stopped to help her and made sure she was safely home. On reflection , inebriation seemed to be the cause of her fall.

Called in to speak to Ali , and Euan and Eve were eagerly waiting to get splashing in their pool.

Arrived at the walled garden and had a good walk round. A cuppa was in order so we popped into the Woodhouse. While we were there Eleanor recognised a man sitting across from us. To cut a long story short he invited us up to see his garden in the local village. Apparently it had been on the Beechgrove Garden a few years ago. Never ones to refuse an invitation to view a garden, we agreed to follow him home. We had a brief look round his garden then he produced keys for a mini John Deere pick up. Annette sat in beside the driver and Eleanor and I were told to jump in the back because his garden was 20 acres! Off we set in and out of trees, grass and greenhouses. What a garden with fantastic views over the hills. It was rather a bumpy ride and , with little to hang on to , it was hilarious. However , we survived our garden tour and laughed all the way home.x
